Crime Alert - Theft of a Vehicle

Dear Resident,

Humberside Police are investigating a report of a Theft of a vehicle in the area.

Please be vigilant and report any concerns to Humberside police by 999 if there is a crime in progress or 101 to inform us of a crime that has taken place.

You can also report annonymously on Crime Stoppers via the website www.crimestoppers-uk.org or call on 0800555111.

To reduce the risk of your vehicle being stolen, please read through the below advice -

Keep your vehicle locked at all times

Make sure your vehicle alarm is set if it has one.

Consider using a steering wheel lock, we recommend Secured by Design accredited products.

Don't leave your keys or fobs where they can be easily found.

If your vehicle has keyless entry, use a faraday pouch to prevent a relay theft.

Park your vehicle in a garage if you can, or in a secure location.

If you have CCTV, park your vehicle where it will be covered.
